Does Bellingham Integrative Medicine accept insurance?

Yes, Dr. Brewster has contracts with Blue Cross Blue Shield (Regence, Premera, Lifewise, Anthem, etc), Kaiser, Aetna, Molina, and United.

However, it’s always a good idea to call and check with your plan ahead of time to confirm that Dr. Brewster is in network with your specific plan. If you would like to make Dr. Brewster your PCP, update your insurance before the visit or this could affect billing. Some plans like Kaiser HMO and First Choice may need a referral to cover the office visit at our clinic

What do office visits look like without insurance or insurance coverage?

The pricing of the office visit ranges based on complexity. Dr. Brewster will apply a 20% cash pay discount to your office visit. Cash, credit cards, HSA are accepted. A superbill can also be created for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits.

Billing Questions

I use an outside service to do billing. Please take their business card during the office visit in case you have any future questions or contact me for their information.

They will send you an invoice with patient liability (any fees not covered by your insurance). You can either reply through the mail or contact me to send you an invoice which will take you to my HIPAA compliant EHR system to securely process your billing information.
